We have twins in the family! On March 15 1757 William Reid and David Reid (twins) were born to James Reid and Janet Scot. This is a branch of my family that I am very sure of. William from above, married Jean Robertson. They had 8 children, one of whom was John Reid (born July 12, 1800). John married Janet Wilson, and they had 8 children...one of whom was William Reid, (born Feb. 23, 1823). This William was the father of James Cross Reid (my great grandfather who came to America in 1890)

By the way, my brother and sister are twins.....Michael and Melinda Reid born in 1959...
